Privacy Policy

Text & Unicode Toolkit is designed to work without collecting your data. This page explains what is and is not processed.

Text you enter in the tools

All text you type or paste into the tools is processed by JavaScript in your browser. It is not sent to our server or to any third party, it is not stored, and it is not logged. When you close or reload the page, the text is gone.

Accounts and database

The site has no user accounts, sign-up forms or database. It is a static website: the server only delivers HTML, CSS, JavaScript and image files.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses localStorage to remember the light or dark theme and your analytics consent choice. If you consent, Google Analytics may set cookies to distinguish sessions and users, while SearchBastion stores a random session identifier in sessionStorage. You can remove these values at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

Analytics and advertising

After you consent, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, device type, traffic source and approximate country. SearchBastion measures URLs, UTM parameters, viewport size, click positions, rage clicks and scroll depth. Analytics requests may include an IP address and browser information as part of normal network communication. If you decline, neither script is loaded. In either case, text entered into the tools is never sent to Google, SearchBastion or our server. The site does not display advertising.

Server logs

Like most websites, the web server hosting the site may keep standard access logs for security and operational purposes for a limited time. These logs never contain the text you enter in the tools.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
